Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Child Care Director to oversee our child care center. The Child Care Director will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the center, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children, and promoting their educational and social development. The ideal candidate will have a background in higher education teaching, experience working with students, and a passion for educating young minds. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with educational standards and promotes age-appropriate learning - Supervise and support teaching staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities - Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and maintain accurate records - Collaborate with parents to address any concerns or questions regarding their child's development or progress - Oversee the enrollment process, including conducting tours, interviewing prospective families, and maintaining accurate enrollment records - Manage the center's budget, including monitoring expenses and seeking cost-effective solutions - Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, following all health and safety protocols - Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes respect, diversity, and cultural sensitivity Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (Master's degree preferred) - Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a child care setting, with at least 1 year in an administrative or leadership role - Knowledge of education administration principles and practices - Familiarity with state licensing regulations for child care centers - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff, parents, and children - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Ability to create a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth We offer competitive compensation based on qualifications and experience.
